Designer Vivian Owo of Elegance by Vivian Presents her 2017 Collection

Elegance by Vivian presented it’s 2017 collection in Port-Harcourt City on the 17th of December 2016  in Hotel Presidential.

She is a fashion brand created by Vivian Owo in 2013. This unisex fashion house employs the African print, popularly known as Ankara; and mixes it with western fabric, to create eclectic day and evening wears.

The 2016 collection was inspired by the retro style of the 70’s fun fashion look. I married my love for my African culture, with the 70’s western fashion look to create looks that expresses individuality. My creativity was also inspired by my favorite artist Pablo Picasso.

It was from feathers, to mini-skirts, to palazzo pants, to chiffon maxi dresses, with ethnic accessories and especially the ‘no-rules’ approach that made the outfits unconventional, glamorous and fun!

The Run way show hosted by Dabi Lolomari  was garnished with  music from the upcoming artist Obedyy; Salsa and high energy African dance was performed by ‘Beauiful feet’ dance group. Comedians like Prince Hezekiah & K.O Baba Johnson had the audiences in stitches and Jazz soloist Jimmy Sampson created  a beautiful, elegant ambience for the evening.

Elegance By Vivian is located at Tombia street, GRA Phase II. Portharcourt. She provides other services such as personal styling, make up and a variety of African and traditional accessories for sale and hire

She also showed appreciation to Humanitarian Activist and President Agape Birthright Ankio Briggs by honouring her with an Award of Excellence.
