Senegalese Designer DIARRABLU uses Mathematics to Create Swimsuits | See the Infinity Campaign

Diarra Bousso is a Senegalese Fashion Designer, Entrepreneur and Mathematics Educator. After earning her BA in Mathematics and Economics at Macalester College, she started a career on Wall Street as a bond trader but decided to resign two years later to follow her true passion in Fashion and Arts.

As part of Dakar’s vibrant creative community, she launched Dakar Boutique in 2013 – a fashion house and art platform that features her two brands: DIARRABLU (contemporary ready-to-wear) and DIARRA BOUSSO (premium leather goods). Today BN Style unveils her new Infinity campaign.

Diarra has showcased her collections during New York and Paris Fashion weeks and represents Senegal at World Fashion Week Paris . She is a strong activist for the global celebration of African art and craftsmanship and represents Senegal at the United Nations’ new platform for art and heritage: MARITAGE.
