New Trend? Check out Di’Ja’s Ankara Braids

Nigerian singer Di’Ja is setting up a new trend we have to pay close attention to. The mum took to her Instagram page to show off her new ‘KY braids‘ wrapped in Ankara done by an Ivorian artist and KY braids creator Laetitiaky. 

Di’Ja captioned her post:

I AM AFRICAN!
I introduce to you “KY BRAIDS” done with Wax! Yes Ankara! Thanks to the wonderful @laetitiaky from Ivory Coast who created such beauty. When you need new ways to cover your hair. She wrapped my aphro!

The Mavin Records member later added several posts of her new hair do and stated that the artist who helped her achieve a new look is not a hairdresser but strictly an artist who caught her attention on Instagram with her creative styles. She added the artist started it all from boredom and wanting to be a fashion designer.

Fellow music star and colleague Tiwa Savage commented on the Instagram post
