Here’s another DIY sewing video from vlogger Nedoux Sews. In this new vlog, she shows us how to finish seams perfectly and neatly without the use of a weaving machine. She said;

Personally, I believe that attention to the finer details of seam finishing is what sets dressmakers apart.

The finishing of a garment should be both careful and aesthetically pleasing. I saw a piece of advice in one of my sewing books “Always aim to make the inside of the garment look even better than the outside”. I live by that rule while sewing my clothes.

Here are my favourite finishing techniques. These go beyond simply using a serger or overlocker to seal the seam edges, they really boost the look of the finished garment, making it possible to have cleanly finished seams if one is still a beginner and not ready to invest in a weaving machine just yet.
