Marital rape is as real as other forms of rape and sexual violence, and inasmuch as it is not codified in the Nigerian constitution, spouses should do well to respect their partner’s choice when they say “no”.

Assistant Police PRO of the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters Annex, Aliyu Giwa shared a thread about marital rape, but this one had several twists.
