Mr Eazi, Nonso Amadi, Ycee… Maleek Berry’s #LDOS Lagos Concert was a Vibe ?
I went to Maleek Berry‘s “Last Daze of Summer” with very high hopes of having a good time because I personally love his songs and this would be my first time watching him perform. Suffice to say, my expectations were blown away as I and the rest of the crowd were treated to a rocking time!
The show was slated for 8PM at Hard Rock Cafe and pumped as I was, I got there right on time. The show started about 30 minutes late but I guess that’s because people just began to troop in at that time. Host of the night Jimmie was pumped full of energy and engaged the crowd for a while. By the way, I see you Jimmie! Thanks for the CD you gave me.
First act of the night was Pretty Boy D-O and he got the audience pumped with one of the most energetic performances on the night:
Odunsi brought out the mellow RnB vibe and finished off his set with his hit single “Desire“:
In case you’ve not seen her perform before, Wavy The Creator‘s vibe is out of this world:
Jimmie introduced DJ Spinall to the audience next and boom! In comes Mr Eazi with”Ohema“, then he performed “Leg Over” before leaving:
It was time for the man of the night as Maleek Berry came on stage to so much love from the audience and he wasted no time in dishing out live performances of his hit songs:
Then, he brings Nonso Amadi on stage and they both perform “Early”. My highlight of the night was when the crowd kept screaming for Nonso Amadi to perform “Tonight“. The DJ didn’t have it, the band didn’t know it. Somehow, he got the crowd to sing along with him until the band got the groove:

It eventually turned into a party as Ycee came in with the sauce and then Maleek Berry rounded up the show with “Kontrol“:
“The “Last Daze of Summer” concert was absolutely a vibe and I’m sure I speak for myself and countless others when I say I don’t regret paying the ticket fee. I got what I expected and more.
