Nigeria’s Alice Oluwafemiayo smashes World Record at World Para Powerlifting Championships in Mexico | WATCH

Alice Oluwafemiayo at the women’s up to 86kg event of the World Para Powerlifting Championships in Mexico smashed the world record!

Olufemiayo had won after clearing  the bar at 140kg, but decided on her fourth try to attempt 145kg to beat the 144kg world record set by Nigerian Loveline Obiji in 2014.

At second place was China’s Feifei Zheng who lifted 130kg, while Egypt’s 2010 world champion Geehan Hassan finished third, lifting 125kg.
