BellaNaija Weddings presents Fatima Dangote and Jamil Abubakar’s Grand 8-Part Celebration #Famil2018

The gorgeous founder of Cupcake Factory Lagos Fatima Dangote tied the knot with her love Jamil Abubakr who is a pilot, in an 8 part wedding ceremony. Their wedding was a grand display of tradition and love. The festivities kicked off in Kaduna where the mother of the bride hosted a mother’s dinner.

The next stop was the Kamu ceremony in Kano which was a colourful display of culture. President Muhammadu Buhari who served as the bride’s Guardian according to the Northern tradition led the wedding Fatiha in Kano which had dignitaries from around the country in attendance. The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II joined the couple according to Islam.

The jewellery the bride had on for her reception dinner in Lagos was a gift from the bride’s father Aliko Dangote. So beautiful!

A dinner reception was organised by the groom’s family in Abuja which saw the bride looking gorgeous in her pink lace attire. To close the series of events, father of the bride Aliko Dangote hosted friends, family, dignitaries to a luxe dinner in Lagos at Eko Convention Centre.

As the bride who is the daughter of Aliko Dangote and the groom who is the son of  the former Inspector General of Police M.D Abubakar, the series of events was well attended by digintaries like Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sanusi, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Bill Gates, Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Aminu Bello Masari, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Umar Tanko Almakura,  Malam Nasir El-Rufai, Kashim Shettima, Ibrahim Geidam, Yahaya Bello, Ibikunle Amosun, Abiola Ajimobi, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, General Aliyu Gusau, President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo, Mo Ibrahim and more.
