Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson hosted their WACO Theater Wearable Art Gala for the second year in a row over the weekend and Beyonce, Blue Ivy Carter and JAY-Z were spotted at the event.

Beyonce shared photos from the event on her Instagram page today and there’s no doubt that the queen Bey and her offspring stole the show in their gorgeous gold gowns fit for queens.

This year’s event was held at the Alexandria Ballroom in Los Angeles and honored two extraordinary women: Beyonce and Jay Z’s mother, Gloria Carter.

JAY-Z received the award on behalf of his mother while Beyonce was moved to tears as she accepted the 2018 WACO Theater Center Humanitarian Award. During her speech, she credited her mother with teaching her the importance and value of helping, celebrating and appreciating others.

The event had a theme of “WACO to Wakanda,” referencing the fictional African nation in Black Panther.
