Seven Police Officers shot dead by Gunmen in Abuja

Seven police officers were on Tuesday shot dead by unknown gunmen along the Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to Punch, the officers were on patrol when they were attacked by the gunmen who drove off after the shooting.

Confirming the report, Commissioner of Police Sadiq Bello said he’s being briefed and the command will issue a statement soon.
