Let’s talk about Being in Love! Don’t Miss Ignite GLA’s Fellowship on Saturday, September 1st
A new month is just around the corner and you know what that means, time for another monthly meeting hosted by Ignite GLA. Join us for our September 2018 fellowship themed ‘Being in love’. Love is one of the most common word in the world, we hear of love between parent and child, friends, life partners, strangers etc. At some point in our lives, we’ve also heard of God’s love; how unconditional it is and how nothing can separate us from this love. Why then is it so difficult to understand what it means to be in love, accept God’s love and live in love?
The word “being” means the existence of a thing or the very nature or essence of a person and the Bible says in 1 John 4:16 “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them”, this confirms that being in love is being in God because there is no separating God from love. 1 John 4:9 says “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” also confirms that love is not just limited to “a strong feeling of affection” as the world defines it but that love drives us to action.
Join Ignite GLA as we dig deeper into what “being in love” really means as we study the Word, pray and worship. Pastor Isi Igenegba and Ighiwiyisi will be joining us and it will be an amazing time fellowshipping with believers, there will also be refreshments served after the spiritual refreshment. Ignite is the youth fellowship of Guiding Light Assembly. We are the young members of the GLA family – young men and women in business, young couples, young entrepreneurs; all young Christians who love Jesus and are trying to figure out how to live the Word in an increasingly complicated world. We meet on the first Saturday of every month to gist with the Holy Spirit, ask a lot of questions and to find out what He has to say about our everyday issues.
