Dele Momodu claims Otedola has accepted to run for Lagos Governor under PDP

Amidst reports that an aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Lagos governorship election Jide Sanwoolu had gotten the support of all 57 LGA/LCDA chairmen in the state, medal mogul Dele Momodu has made an even more interesting disclosure.
Momodu, in a tweet on Tuesday, said that billionaire Femi Otedola has accepted an offer from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to run for office as Lagos state governor under the party.
“Breaking news: Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He’s accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper…,” Momodu tweeted.
Otedola had recently endorsed Ambode for a second term.
