Funke Akindele‘s eagerly anticipated new movie “The Return of Jenifa” premiered at the MUSON Centre in Lagos on Friday, 7th of October 2011.
Torrential rainfall in Lagos on Friday evening did nothing to dampen the excitement and festive vibe of the premiere. The event was packed with celebrities from the world of film and music. Everyone had caught the “Jenifa fever” and simply could not wait to see the movie.
The star of the day, Funke Akindele arrived in grand style! She was dressed in a gorgeous floor-length yellow dress and later on, she changed into another stunner, this time in pink!

Funke looks funky is both but more so the yellow one. She would have done better with her hair. I dont care too much for Oge Okoye, Chioma’s face looks puffed up, Omoni tried good choice of colour for her skin tone. Kate Henshaw’s on point as always, loving Rita Dominic’s hairdo, wonderful new look, Sasha’s dress looks lovely, and I prefer the pink outfit to the yellow on Funke Akindele. I also think she should inch closer to Nigerian designers, she always looks amazing in their work.
To the lady in the ‘show belle’ top, Denrele, the guy with the colorful hair extensions, Adaora Ukoh (why did you cut your hair), and Eniola Badmus, it is well with you! If not here, in the afterlife.
