The highly anticipated movie – ‘FIFTY‘ by EbonyLife Films had its BFI London Film Festival premiere on Saturday 17th October 2015, and the cast – Dakore Akande, Iretiola Doyle, Wale Ojo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Omoni Oboli as well as EbonyLife CEO, Mo Abudu and Director, Biyi Bandele were in attendance. The sold out movie premiere had loads to offer – an opening of the red carpet with the famous UK-based Talking Drummers, a live screening of the movie, as well as an after party. It also marked the first African-style film premiere in London and witnessed a large group of spectators during the screening.

The day began for the ladies at their hotel – the St. Martins Hotel where they prepared to get picked up by a car from the Film Festival, and took selfies.

Next up was the red carpet. The ladies were met on the red carpet by the Talking Drummers. After dancing, they rook photos by the wall and headed in for a brief press screening. Then it was time for the screening!

The Screening

After the screening was the after party! Guests and the cast and crew got together to celebrate the successful movie. In continuance of its world-wide acclaim and overwhelming appreciation, FIFTY thrilled a grateful festival audience and enjoyed a rapturous and unending standing ovation.

The movie is set for release nationwide on the 18th of December, 2015.

    I dont like Mo Abudu’s first hair style @ all, it just didnt go well for me. As for Omoni Oboli,i think she would have done something better with her natural hair than that big damned wig,her dress i loved best.
    Nse,slayed it the best for me.

    Is that Arese Alonge? Her first picture here is right below Ifechukwu nee Mordi whose picture is right below Mrs Abudu and her daughter. LOL!

    Ireti Doyle’s’ second outfit – wrong colour of shoes. Clashes with her skin colour.

    Omoni Oboli’s hair is overwhelming. It hides her pretty face. Even a sort of loose packing would have done it.

    Beautiful women…. i didn’t really like mo’s hairstyle with the white dress but that dress was beautiful! Dakore can i just say you are one beautiful lady? I love nse’s effortless chic and Ireti you are a classy lady! Kudos to you all!

    Aunty Mo please, stop da bleaching ooooo!! you are destroying your skin… when you first started you looked good.. i just zoomed your pics with your feet they are all full of veins.. and nothing did it but the bleaching.. Lord have mercy!! Na by force to be white?? Baba God no make you white.. you want de yalla so… now you look like a witch a 80 year old which with your bleaching.. i just look at your feet i nearly fainted. Same to DAKORE.. lord have mercy… Dakore.. nayou bi soo?? de just de bleach your skin….
