Smooth 98.1 FM’s eagerly anticipated Love Music, Love Life Luxury Concert is finally here.

This year’s line up is made up of our very own critically acclaimed singer and songwriter – Asa, guitar maestro – Jimmy Dludlu and “The First Lady of Sax” – Pamela Williams. It’s going to be a thrilling night of exceptional performances as they entertain us in style.

Asa got her critical acclaim with the release of her first album ‘Asa’, whose stand out tracks garnered her global recognition as the young, charismatic Nigerian songstress with a trademark husky voice.

With the 2010 release of her second album ‘Beautiful Imperfection’ she continues to share her story, singing in both the English and Yoruba languages, blending elements of pop, R&B, world, funk, soul, and reggae to reach an international audience of music lovers of all ages. Asa and her 10-man band will perform hits from both albums.

American born Pamela Williams, also known as “The First Lady of Sax” is a multi-talented instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter who is undoubtedly, one of the most popular performers on the international smooth jazz scene.

Pamela Williams exhibits a stylish blend of flavours, from Latin & jazz, to R&B, hip-hop, and house. She tours the world electrifying audiences with her dynamic sound and captivating stage presence, and her next stop is Lagos, Nigeria.

Jazz guitarist Jimmy Dludlu has long been celebrated as one of the most talked about talents among South Africa’s new jazz generation. Terms like “guitar phenomenon” and “jazz maestro” have often been used to describe his exciting performance style and his talent spans more than just guitar ability, as strongly reflected in his insightful compositions and musical arrangements.

Jimmy is sure to thrill the audience with his authentic mix of smooth jazz.

    I will be there to see Jimmy Dludlu.
    If he does not perform ‘Cape after midnight’, the concert will not be over.I will hold him hostage until i hear that favourite song of mine.
    I am not a fan of smooth jazz but i will give Pamela a chance.
    South African Jazz does not get bette rthan Jimmy Dludlu and i am so looking forwrd to this concert.
