#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 1: Mo’Fari
When we think of the Mo’Fari Couture fashion label, one word resounds in our heads – ‘Chic’.
Yesterday at Day 1 of the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week, we got to see creative director, Omowunmi Owonifari, deliver structured peplum tops, shirt dresses with stunning embellishments, structured capes, blazers and tuxedo dresses, and 2 beautiful wedding dresses.
The collection was a great continuation to her rise to fashion stardom, and the brand has definitely come a long way since it first caught our eye on the Fashion Focus finalists list of 2014.

All designs look tacky. Its not a neat job. More work to be done dear. Try harder. Nice try though; but it can be better

The wedding dresses are nothing out of the usual. Make your own statement ma’am. It could be simple but extraordinaire. Am I a fashion designer, no, not yet. Just have ‘good eyes’.
