Rising Nigerian menswear fashion label, Attire Quest recently unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 collection titled Afro Fusion inspired by the conversion of wearable art into trendy menswear.
The collection has an array of matching kaftan sets in dark hues combined with aso-oke linings, floral embroidery and Aztec patterned print, Agbada fused with aso-oke hem and other designs, giving us an interesting perspective on traditional menswear.
According to the statement released with the collection:
The culture of Africa is varied and manifold, consisting of a mixture of tribes that each have their own unique characteristics. It is a product of the diverse populations that today inhabit the continent of Africa and the African Diaspora.
The African Culture really is our pride, so for Spring/Summer ’18 Attire Quest is infusion the culture into wearable art thus showcasing the culture to The New Generation Africans & The World at large but in a Trendy menswear version.
This comprises of Kaftans & Agbadas in different cuts, shapes & colours palettes all with a unique arrangement & structure.
