The Pan African 4th Annual Music Fashion Runway (MFR), took place in Nigeria at Lagos Continental Hotel Victoria Island on Thursday 29th November and was a success.
Organized by NMO Management & PR Limited the event was attended by iconic legends, celebrities, international designers and runway models and represented a natural fusion with quality star artist live music performances
The Game Changer Africa Acknowledgement (GCAA) Award segment which was was hosted by Wofai Samuel and presented by Ngozi Omambala, honors extraordinary individuals and creative pioneers.
Game Changer Africa Award Recipients were, Kunle Afolayan (Filmmaking) and Lanre Da Silva (Fashion). A special Game Changer Africa Award was also presented to the Late Wale Aboderin who was represented by Angela Emuwa current Chairman Punch Newspapers Limited.
On the other hand, The Music Fashion Runway was a cultural showcase representing quality designs and musical excellence. Star performance of the night was International artist Klash who gave a superb live music set with popular LoudNProudLive ‘One Sound’ Band whilst BBNaija’s Alex Unusual strutted down the runway with other models showcasing cutting-edge pan African designs by internationally renowned Ade Bakare, IRE Clothing, Skentele by Etti, Big Ben Kilani, Steve Ray Couture and more.
Hosts Lessi Vigboro Peters and Ovo Ogufere were a class act introducing a succession of back to back designer collections displayed against a backdrop of uptempo live ‘music heaven’ beats from RnB, Afrobeat, Salsa, Reggae to high-life and Afro-pop.
