For the 2nd edition of LAIF – Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival Awards 2013, held on Saturday 9th November 2013 and dished out awards to advertising institutions, agencies and creative minds in Lagos.
The award ceremony, which took place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos played host to a frenzy of advertising professionals to celebrate Nigeria’s creative industry. The event was tagged “It’s a Gr8 LAIF” and also doubled as the grand finale for the 40th Anniversary of AAAN – Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria, celebrations.
This year, a total of 12 agencies participated in the Awards and competed for the winning gold, silver and bronze awards in 4 main categories – press, outdoor, radio and television.
One of the major highlights of the evening was the dominance of Insight Communications as, once again, they became the most awarded agency in this year’s award ceremony. According to the medals table released by AAAN, Insight carted away a total number of 26 medals – 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 14 Bronze, to emerge overall winner of the 2013 LAIF awards.
