I love it when Nigerian females in entertainment get together and take cutesy pictures. It sends a powerful message of solidarity and appreciation for each other, especially in this industry where we like to pitch actresses against each other based on things like looks, weight and accomplishments.

nne inukwa…me too I was looking for the business leaders and all I’m seeing are people in Entertainment. The same way that 100 Gen voices was supposed to be young people in various fields doing well but it ended up with people in entertainment. I guess in Nigeria regardless of what you’re doing and you’re not on every Red carpet or blog, no invite for you!

I see where you guys are coming from, but I don’t think the pictures on here captured everyone present. I can see Robert Hersov and Ryszard Varisella, those two are deep-pocketed investors.

Awww Gorgeous Ladies, just look at them. Now if they can only get their fabulous a$$e$ on movie sets and start making some movies.

    • Bukky

      February 6, 2014 at 10:06 pm

The truth is every actor and actress will always wan to act. Is it their first duty to produce movies? No ! They can have their own movies but if producers and directors are not doing enough good movies for these gorgeous actors to act in why are we criticizing them alone?
In btw… For those asking , all actors invited are investors in diff ways. Maybe except Kate he saw , I don’t know much about her. Stephanie and rita are producers, omotola is building a film village , most of the women I see up there are business owners… One minute you guys are screaming for them to invest next minute you’re wondering why they are in investment meetings,
      Pshewww confused masses.

I did not critisize anyone, I just said I wanted to see them in movies. Please don’t come at me with your nonesense.

Bleed Blue thank you for your sensible comments…. Where were the Nigerian entrepreneurs or did they roll out Nolly Wood’s finest during the break to act as light entertainment? Ridiculous

      February 6, 2014 at 10:14 pm

I guess you missed the part where BN clearly stated “Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Kate Henshaw, Stephanie Linus, Onari Duke, Mary B, Betty Irabor, Elohor Aisien, Lanre DaSilva Ajayi, Omobola Johnson, Rita Dominic and Queen Ahneva, were some of the guests invited.”
–Even at that, I still see a couple of Entrepreneurs. I see big time Foreign Investors like Polish English Investor Ryszard Varisella and British South African Investor Rob Hersaove. Now unto our Nigerian Entrepreneurs and Investors-I see : Tony Elumelu, Tonye from Sahara Oil, Omobola Johnson, Queen Ahneva, Mary B, Betty Irabor, Phillip Oduoza and Onari Duke. I guess you only focused on the Nollywood folks and forgot there were other people in the mix.

Wow! This is best I have seen Omotola look in a while. I like when she’s dressed effortlessly. Her hair is pulled back nice, beautiful outfit, nice & easy colors, & the fabric isn’t heavy. She looks beautiful jo. However, I don’t like the nose contouring her make up artist did there. Here is one of the many reason Lupita continues to stand out from many black women. She highlights her natural beauty rather than create false features with make up.
Mo is fine but her hair never looks nice
Rita O’Rita! She never gets it right. Her neck is not long enough for the over curly hair & high neck blouse. She & Dolapo Oni are petite women & they should stay away from anything that will make them look compressed.
Stephanie looks like she was there to perform some voodoo rites.
Kate Henshaw will always be perfect to me. This is how one should look in their 40s.
