A Sweet Affair! Celebs & Media Personalities at the Sweet Kiwi Frozen Yogurt Flagship Store Opening in Lagos!

On Sunday 16th March 2014 everyone with a sweet tooth came out for the Sweet Kiwi yogurt bar launch, on Admiralty Way, Lekki Pahse 1, Lagos.

The launch event attracted everyone; from Nigerian event planners including Yewande Zaccheaus of Eventful Limited, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe of Zapphire Events & Ayiri Oladunmoye of Oaken Events to young media personalities and celebrities such as, Sasha, Banky W, Noble Igwe, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Kunbi Oyelese, Stephanie Coker and Tracy Nwapa who came out to show their support.

Hosted by Ezinne Alpha of BeautyinLagos.com, the launch event kicked off with a cocktail reception which was followed by a formal opening ceremony conducted by special guests; Tara Fela-Durotoye (Founder/CEO House of Tara International), Peter Bankole (Director Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-African University)  & Pat Utomi who declared Sweet Kiwi open for business!

Centrally located, the store boasts of 10 self-serve machines; customers are able to serve and customize their own froyos from flavors to a wide variety of toppings.

Guests trooped in with excitement as Ehime Eigbe, CEO of Sweet Kiwi, explained the concept behind the store and offered a quick demo on how to use the machines. “The idea behind the flagship store, was to create a lively and engaging space for our customers; we have put them in charge! We will continue to deliver our premium healthy yogurts in over a 100 flavors and offer a large selection of delectable toppings, but now our customers are in control of their Sweet Kiwi experience, from start to finish”.

In addition to froyos served in 10 delicious flavours; red raspberry, wild strawberry, kiwi and pomegranate to mention a few, guests were treated to fine champagne from Moet & Chandon and canapés while taking in the Sweet Kiwi experience and having fun in the Photo booth provided by Starbooth.
