Undisputedly Sylvanus. Second runner up is Hilda Dokubo. Third should be Bukky Wright with her yamayama crying mouth though not included in the collage.

Nkiru Sylvanus bites the cake on this one. SShehaso a natural born talent for summoning her tears Bud to will. I can’t remember the film it was again, Where she played an Orphan going through one tough situation to an even tougher one consistently but even my tough cousin caught up in his feelings while we watched the film.

How can anyone other than Nkiru Sylvanus win this one. She was a national crier. Aunty Hilda comes in second. Town crier. Ngozi Ezeonu comes in third. Area crier. Also I think Bukky Wright, Rita Edochie and Chiege Alisigwe should replace the rest of them. Those are the local government criers.

    • MurdaSheWrote

      June 29, 2017 at 2:02 pm

LOOOL. But damn where is Chiege Alisigwe? She just disappeared from Nollywood sha.

Anyone that cries more than Nkiru Sylvanus is another thing o. That girl could switch between a smile and tears in a blink of an eye. And her cry will just make your cry to come out. Lol

Was it last month or so, I took myself to rewatch ‘Evil Forest’ starring Hilda & Nkiru.
Hmm…I cried like it was the first time of me seeing the movie if not even more. My pillow was soaked in tears, my eyes congested and red. At a point it became funny to me.
No leave oh… Those two can cry their way out of hell into heaven, but I have to give it to Nkiru, who will then keep her eyes as someone recovering from a seizure.

Nkiru sylvanus is the winner. Ah, I remember the movie “a cry for help” that babe cried her heart out in that movie.
Hilda dokubo comes next. She doesn’t need to wail o. As she sits there, she will open her eyes wide and the tears will just be flowing. Hahahahhahahhahahha. Baby geh could cry. She’s a beautiful woman.

  22. The queen

    June 29, 2017 at 12:58 pm

I remember when Stella damasus said she will no longer act roles that depicted her as a sad and perpetually crying widow. Lol. Stella could cry too. BN, remove Tonto and put Stella’s picture there. Hahahhahahahah

      June 30, 2017 at 2:42 am

It’s Nkiru Sylvanus for me, God she used to annoy me so much. But my favourite cry is from one of my absolute favourite movies, games women play when Stella Demasus cried while scratching the ground.

  23. adelegirl

    June 29, 2017 at 1:08 pm

I am surprised this is even up for debate when everyone knows that Nkiru Sylvanus is the Nollywood Queen of Tears. She can cry for the world in movies and it helps that she looks so endearing crying too. You will not know when you will join in sympathy crying once her waterworks start.

  24. Miss_Flygerian

    June 29, 2017 at 1:18 pm

There was a movie I watched back in the day, I don’t remember the name. Hilda Dokubo and Nkiru Sylvanus played the roles of mother and daughter respectively. Pete Edochie was the typical wicked uncle who killed their husband/father and sent them packing. Mehn, the crying in that movie was not here o. Up and down, left and right, back and front, every damn scene….na so dem just dey cry dey go. The movie was just frustrating to watch. The excessive crying really grated my nerves.

Chinwe Owoh is another one that can cry for Africa. Mercy Johnson’s own is to be dropping catarrh everywhere in the name of cry. Yuck!

  25. Anonympus

None of the above actresses could beat Ameze omarigbe in the crying game.

She could shed enough tears to rival the rains of Noah, and the floods of Ajah

    June 29, 2017 at 8:18 pm

The crown goes to Nkiru Sylvanus. I remember seeing a preview of a movie with her in it, my sister and I commented that “this lady can cry!” Then we saw Mike Ezuronye some seconds later, we shouted in unison: this movie will be full of tears o! And it was.

Bukky Wright is the first runner up; mehn! the way she cried for Suara in Superstory: Oh Father Oh Daughter!
