    Blame game.
Not saying they shouldn’t help, but people need to be encouraged to save for rainy days.
And I’m not trying to imply that he was at a point rich.
I hope this gets their attention now though, at least to foot his medical and some basic bills

Shit happens. U can save for rainy day, but when hard times hits u, it hits u. Highly inappropriate and malevolent comment.

I’m sorry but I agree with Ebony. He’s a grown ass man. Why not even blame his family for not taking care of him. Unless these actors have a pact or contract where they have to help out when one of theirs is down… I don’t see his point

    Sad to hear that.

    You bloggers can also help.

Nigerians please save save and save you cant get it wrong with saving. Save for the rainy day!

Exactly, nene. I read he had a mental breakdown as a result of drug use and was even admitted in neuro-psychiatric hospitals. Obviously, he is not quite recovered from his mental health challenges and probably lacks a strong family support system. This type of story being published may just cause a regression. Nollywood should please try rally round this guy and get him some help. He is one of theirs still after all…

oH my goodness this is so sad
This young man has been through a lot and personally i think its spiritual
First he got bipolar and went mental for a few years, he got better and featured in one or two movies and now this.. See how nollywood is, God forbid he dies then then will come talking about “Oh why didnt he say anything” just like they did MUNA OBIEKWE. All the brazilian weaves and all the clothes and showing off in dubai yall do on social media, you mean to tell me none of you can help this man.

This is a shame. I pray he gets better. Ernest at least you are alive (unlike Muna) and so far as you are alive all hope is not lost. God loves you and we pray for your recovery.

ps: he was never my favourite actor (just like Jim Iyke cos they both started the same time) particularly cos of the fake accent and yankee gangster mannerisms he had in all his roles (including village roles) , but none the less he made me laugh sometimes and to me he is just okay. I hate to see him go through this.

Bella naija i dont think you publishing this is good. Its a bit embarassing to the man and his family, but i guess with yall anything to gain traffic. #SlowNewsDay everyday.

Why shouldn’t they post this? Is it only posts about weddings, gossips, & red carpet with those disastrous skin tones, clothes & wigs you want to see here? There are some people who would see this post & help in their own way.

Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sinéad O’Connor, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand and Kurt Cobain to name a few had/have Bipolar yet they are/were famous and remained so,. It is about managing your condition.

In terms of his finances, no comment. only he knows how that emptied. family give away, lavish lifestyle, medical bills. who knows? the issue now is, why are so many Nollywood fames turning to rust so drastically?

Bella Naija! you shouldn’t have posted this. If its true then the situation is already embarrassing. Do something about it or ask people to. Give us an account number or something! Making this a headline is just sad and unfair.
In other news, my people say that a poor man has no friend so its little wonder hes begging. Most people are there when everything is cool but fall out of grace and you’ll discover the people that really care.

When they won’t invest and be living the life, drinking Hennessy and smoking all what not. When wahala comes they will call for charity. Invest your money, pay for health insurance, live moderate etc. When wahala comes you can stand alone. Leave life of showbiz because when chips and down human beings will run. I’m not saying this is what happened in this man’s case but his colleagues are well-known for living their lives like its TV until problems come. Its not the way forward.

i am not perfect and can never say i have never condemned but may people never remember your mistakes when you are in need. It’s easier to seat and judge, pray my dear you never get to the point of begging. for a man to get to the extent of begging especially an igbo man with all his pride and ego, you should know how desperate he is. Everyday you pick your bible and claim to be holy and the single most important commandment i.e love, we can’t obey. May God help us

Y is most of u re making jest of him, evn if he has wrong u in the past can’t u HV pity in his present situation and ask God to hv mercy on Him or do u tink u have not offend any body in ur life. But let’s bear in mind it doesn’t continue, God in his infinite mercy mit decide to show him mercy. Lastly No Conditions Is Permanent. For those who re happy abt his situation now.

Hmmm..Bella Naija please post my comment. I just said you should be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. Theirs absolutely no use for this headline. The situation is already sad. Embarrassing him further doesn’t provide a solution.
Can you Bella Naija help him in any way. In the past you’ve asked your viewers to help on certain issues. Is this one different.
    Please post my comment.

Africans and their wickedness sef! The Actor’s Guild or whatever it’s called should put themselves to use and reach out to him. Everyone wants to show face when someone is prospering but when the going gets tough, people disappear–this should not be our reality and we should be ashamed of ourselves–that’s shear wickedness.

We complain that our government is corrupt because they drive flashy cars and live lavish lifestyles whilst the majority languish in squalor.
How is this case in point different from what the government has been doing to its people since the beginning of time. And no, I do not mean to insinuate that people should now start giving away their hard earned money to anyone but it’s about social responsibility. Creating a platform from which agencies and individuals can donate time and money to the rehabilitation of such people and this is as easy as creating a website or posting something to that effect on the organization’s website.

God is not man and therefore man cannot play God and judge this person. I hope his former colleagues step out, no one is above going asunder, it’s God that keeps us all, remember that.

i feel sad for him, sympathize with him and hope he bounces back. that said, it seems as though he’s blaming the actors guild for not assisting him. that is also not a good thing that they didnt but i mean… since when is it their responsibility? they didnt help him, so? is he just gonna place blame on them? blaming someone for your problems makes you feel lighter but still i dont think its their responsibility…

I don’t think there is anything wrong with BN doing this post, if not how else would we know to help. Knowledge is power, now that you have known especially where he was seen, par adventure you pass there and see him, you will be more inclined to go to him and help him out. But I think the public needs to rally round and help him now that he is still alive…. He sure needs help.

FORGIVE ME FOR THIS THIS, IT IS QUITE UNFORTUNATE FOR WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS YOUNG ACTOR, BUT THE FACT IS THEY SHOULD ALWAYS SAVE FOR THE RAINY DAY JUST IN CASE, RATHER THAN LIVING THIS BIG LIE OF A LIFE STYLE… YOU SEE THEM IN FUNCTIONS ACTING SO POSH , LOUD AND BIG, WITH EXPENSIVE DESIGNER OUTFITS AND JEEPS, LIVING IN POSH AREA AND APARTMENT, BY NOW THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT THEIR COLLEAGUES HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS, THEY NEVER GOING TO COME TO HIS AID, IT IS A SHAME WHEN YOU READ ABOUT THIS IN THE PAPER…. WE PRAY NEVER TO FIND OURSELVES IN THIS SITUATION … I HOPE THING WORK OUT WELL FOR THE BETTER FOR HIM… NO POINT BLAMING EBINABO, SHE CANNOT COME TO EVERYBODY’S AID
