Here’s some street wear for our urban fashionistas out there. From Nigerian designer – Seyi Sanusi of street wear brand, Sanusi Lagos, comes the Spring/Summer 2016 collection titled “PUSHAS“.

Created to take a new spin on the urban African fashion scene, the unisex collection was inspired by a fusion of influences inspired by the environment, culture, lifestyle and the designers love for Hip-Hop music and luxury street wear.

Need more convincing? Well, some of your favourite music artists like Ice Prince, D’banj, Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, The Mavins crew and more have rocked pieces from the collection on stage, music videos and seem to be loving the urban vibe.

let hire very average plain looking white models so we can look more international. what a joke

this collection would have been popping assuming u use all black models cause street fashion looks so cool and edgy on black models.

    its a no for me.
that female model’s skin is too white and pasty for the clothes.

Stupid to use white models for LAGOS STREET wear. Black people should be there trying to be accepted by catering to whites, the whites DONT cater to our race or market. They tell us to wear what we find. This is not ‘forward thinking’, its ridiculous that you say youre disigning Lagos street wear and show me light skinned men and women. how many people in Lagos look like that??????Make una small small with this complex you guys have with this whole ‘be light skinned to be accepted’. Mscheuww!!

Don’t like the fact that he used white people…if he was going for a more acceptable collection globally he should have used all kinds of models, black, white, big, small( ain’t nothing wrong with thinking big) I however love the fact that hes thinking ahead…while others are still struggling with their ss15 collection release…he has released his ss16 collection.#seriousmindedguy

Hmm. The population of young people in Nigeria who are aspiring models, actresses, fashion designers, DJs, fashion consultants, stylists and musicians is alarming. Is it the lack of jobs or indulgent parents? A lot of young people waste years of their life without understanding that very few of these careers are viable especially in Nigeria. For every 1 P-Square or TuFace, there’s at least 10,000 others that didn’t make it. There’s nothing wrong with dreams but please be practical and mix things up with something else that brings home the paycheck when Instagram likes don’t cut it. Too many promising lives wasted with dreams of “I’m going to make it in this “game””. People that left us in University are still carrying mixtapes and unsold albums up and down talking about ” the industry”. Be wise o.

yes he used white people for a theme he intended to surround the hippy Lagosian but without been racist, can we actually just look at the clothing.? They are truly revolutionary pieces and the geometric play is inspiring.

I think it’s a great collection, you guys should chill with your racist comments, these were the models they probably can afford and trust me, our Nigerian model are sooo freaking expensive and how do you expect him paying some unknown model because he/she has got sexy body when they already have stars buying their stuffs ? Mehn ya’ll gotta chill
