Alibaba, Tee-A, Gbenga Adeyinka, D’banj, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe join Abisoye Fagade at the Inaugural OSMD Youth Empowerment Submit in Ibadan

Pop Star D’banj, alongside comedy legends Alibaba, Gbenga Adeyinka and Tee-A on Thursday, August 11th 2016, joined other creative industry leaders in Ibadan, Oyo State to inspire a younger generation of entrepreneurs at OSMD Network’s inaugural Youth Empowerment Summit.

The bi-annual event, tagged, “What is in your Hand: A Strategic Tool” held at the Conference Hall of Mauve 21, Ibadan, featuring keynote speakers, Tunji Olugbodi, an integrated marketing communications expert, and Ubong King, a security services business mogul.

Other speakers present at the summit include advertising guru Steve Babaeko, filmmaker Chris Ihidero, PR consultant Ayeni Adekunle, blogger Tosin Ajibade, events consultant Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, make-up artist Anita Brows and others.

Speaking on success of the maiden edition, Founder, OSMD Network, and Convener, OSMD Network Youth Empowerment Summit, Abisoye Fagade says,

“Through the presence and kind words of all speakers, we hope that we were able to motivate a number of young minds in attendance as was our goal with the summit. I am personally excited at the success of the maiden edition and I can hardly wait for the subsequent ones and the number of lives still to be touched.”

MC at the summit, D’banj remarked,

“I am truly inspired by this gathering. It is a great blessing to be successful and also, being able to share knowledge with younger ones and instil values in them. I enjoyed the event and I really look forward to the next one.”
