Lagos was selected for this year’s “City To City” program at the Toronto International Film Festival and apart from a couple of Nollywood movies being spotlighted, some industry heavyweights will have the opportunity to talk about Nollywood and how much growth the industry has attained during the festival.

Recently, director Abba Makama, actresses Genevieve Nnaji, Omoni Oboli, producer/director Uduak-Obong Patrick, director Kemi Adetiba, actor Kunle Afolayan, directors Niyi Akinmolayan and Izu Ojukwu spoke onstage at the ‘City to City’ press conference during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival at TIFF Bell Lightbox on September 13, 2016 in Toronto, Canada.

lol. This is the reason why one has to be careful about online comments . People leave comments as if they know every detail of these celebrities’ lives. Someone even said they were “personally” told of the animosity between Genny and Omoni at Mo Abudu’s birthday

People who peddle rumours and bad news, and only see the negative side of everything can’t make much progress in life. They know all the bad things happening around, and are prompt to spread gossip, falsehood and negative information. Such people end up twisted in life, because they never see or celebrate the good in anything.

You seem to know ‘everything’ about these two….however though I noticed a constant in these comparisons
Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Ekeinde ………..Beef
      Genevieve Nnaji and Kate Henshaw………………..Beef
      Genevieve Nnaji and Omoni Oboli……………………..Beef
This Genevieve Nnaji lady must be really something to be keeping all ye fans busy like bees! Well am no fan on any of them but to be honest Genevieve Nnaji is now a constant and she has my full attention now, thanks to you guys. I guess when you’re perculiar, and have a lot going for you – humanity cannot cope with your consistent success and confidence, so they too are confident and consistent in peddling evil report about you albeit unsuccessful.
Please leave them alone hmmmm #JustSaying

Lmao @Busarni you are either demon possed or have an overly active Imagination. My name is Donald (not afraid to say it) and I was at Mo’s party. The event was fun and everyone got along very well. No bad blood, no fight. If you were truly at the party why don’t you come out boldly and say your name? Obviously the “fight” was public right? So there’s nothing to be anonymous about.

If there’s any beef between queen Genny and Omini oboli, then I can gladly tell you Omoni ignited that beef. She has always compared herself to Genevieve in most of her PR stunts. Omoni if you’re readin this, just know that you’re still comin up, you got a long way to go, if not because you started producin your own movies, you’ll have not been known anytime soon. And even after producin your own movies only few people know you…. So focus on your craft, there’s enough space for you to shine, without comparin your box office returns to queen Genny! Hi five ✋

Genevieve Nnaji (enough star power) born to shine.

Omoni likes to over hype herself. Genny, Omotola, Rita D are QUEENS of Nollywood. You still have a long way to go sugar. Keep working hard maybe you will get to their level

@Titanium, I adopt your comment as mine.
Omoni is always in the habbit of comparing herself with Genny. Is either she is saying her Role in Anchor Baby surpesedes any of Genny’s role. Or she is saying that her movie grossed more than Genny’s at the box office. Which are totally lies… And PR stunts. This was how l got to know who she is oo. After l read an article online where she was still trying to compare herself with Genny.
But from the pix before me here, it seems Omoni is so excited abt sitting next next to Queen Genny. She should enjoy it while it last, coz not everyday will she have such privilege.
Infact, I think I understand Omoni’s trick shaa…. Always attaching herself to Genny to enable her build her popularity. But at least, she should learn to show respect to the Queen , it will enable her go along way.

    @Sq @Duncan @Janeee @Nene @Busarni @Missappleberry @Titanium
“A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven” (Jn 3:27 AMP). We live in a world of peer pressure. Others set the standard and we wear it, drive it, quote it, or do it…..in some cases that’s okay; but not when it comes to your life’s direction.

So guys please concentrate on being the best ‘you’ you can be—and celebrate every moment of it. Let’s embrace our individualities and grow #NotHate #PeddleRumors #NotPolluteWithNegativity
