Here are the highlights of Bimpe Onakoya’s presentation at the New York Fashion Week 2018

New York Fashion Week 2018 is officially over and Maybelline New York Nigeria’s Artistic Director, Bimpe Onakoya did a terrific job at the event, she headlined the Rochambeau presentation, the LaQuan Smith show and she got to work with gorgeous international models like Winnie Harlow, Duckie Thot, and Herieth Paul.

For Rochambeau, Bimpe keyed a super edgy, adventurous look. She started off by creating the perfect base: glowly, matte and flawless-looking skin, then she proceeded to create a  dramatic graphic eye.

To finish up the look, she used Maybelline’s Superstay Matte Ink in the shade Explorer, which is a striking bold dark blue lipstick that went well with Rochambeau’s bright and colorful collection.

However, Bimpe  decided to take a different turn for the LaQuan Smith show, she went with  a glamorous no make-up makeup look, but this time it had a unique twist, it included a sharp double wing and a white liner that was added to the bottom waterline to create a brightening effect and add that extra oomph to the eyes.

This twist looked good on all the models and it was perfect for the designer’s daring, sleek and sexy collection. To end her stay in New York, Bimpe glammed up Maybelline It Girl, Herieth Paul for the Maybelline party. She opted for a sophisticated smokey eyes look and a soft nude lip that looked amazing on the Tanzanian model.
