Ufuoma McDermott, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Hilda Dokubo attend #AFRIFF2018 Opening Night

The 2018 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) officially kicked off yesterday night, November 11th with the opening films being Sew the Water into My Skin a film By Jahmil X.T Qubeka.

The festival which runs until the 17th of November, had many celebrities such as Ufuoma McDermott, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Hilda Dokubo and much more in attendance

According to the website, this year’s programme is is a visual exploration of the portrayal of women in cinema that raises discussions on a central question: ‘What is Woman?’ Some of the selected films were made by female directors and/or about Women as central characters or protagonists.
