OneHouse: A Joint Art Exhibition
OneHouse Exhibition, a joint art exhibition featuring Leye Moses, Gbenga Ajiboye, Funso Omojola. This collaboration of artists will help to open our eyes to facets of Afro-centric methods, mean and stories. It is a celebration of diversity and African history in the most beautiful visual way possible.

EMAC #SmearIt Walk and Smearathon
Join the First Lady of Lagos State, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and other advocates, at the EMAC #SmearIt walk and Smearathon, as we raise awareness for cervical cancer prevention and early detection. There will also be free cervical screening for those interested.

NSC September 2019 Sewing Workshop
The Nedoux Sewing Club is holding a one-day practical workshop for absolute beginners who want to acquire DIY sewing skills. During the workshop, each participant would learn how to construct and sew some staple garments via basic pattern creation, using an electric sewing machine.

Sarah Waiswa: A Journey Into Documentary & Portrait Photography
Join us for an Artist talk with photographer Sarah Waiswa (@lafrohemien), on her journey into documentary and portrait Photogrpahy and her career to date. She is a Ugandan born Kenya based documentary and portrait photographer with an interest in exploring identity on the African continent, particularly the New African Identity.

Women’s Film Club Screening: Faces
Faces is directed by award winning British-Nigerian director, Joseph A. Adesunloye.  It had its world premiere at the 2018 Durban International Film Festival.

Ozioma Onuzulike: Seed Yams of Our Land
The Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos is pleased to present a monumental project by Nigerian artist Ozioma Onuzulike in an exhibition entitled Seed Yams of Our Land. The exhibition explores yam (Dioscorea spp.) – a prestigious and sacred food crop, and the yam barn – a site of political and economic power among various ethnic groups in Nigeria – as metaphors to engage the human condition in Africa shaped by unequal relations with first world countries and their imperial powers.
