Interswitch One Africa Music Fest
The biggest UAE’s Afrobeats show concert is happening in Dubai this weekend with more than a dozen acts set to take the stage such as Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Teni, Tekno, 2Baba, Zlatan, Jah Prayzah, Akothee, Lij Michael, Linah, Diamond Platinumz, Harmonize, Eddy Kenzo, Nandy, Nhatty Man, Soujila, The Ben, Vanessa Mdee, King Promise, DJ Spinal, DJ Cuppy and DJ Obi.

Cinema Mon Amour will be screening the movie Patria Obscura directed by Marguerite Stephane Ragot. The movie is about a photographer who goes in search of the memory of his grandfathers, Pierre the legionnaire and Paul the paratrooper, who both died some time ago. With them, he explores the history of his family, a history hemmed in by wars and undermined by silence and unspoken resentments. In this brazen film, he reveals the novel of a country, France, at war with itself.

The scintillating BAP production highlights the stereotypical narratives that weigh men down as they struggle to perform their duties and prove that they are Man Enough. The play features, Gideon Okeke, Tana Adelana, Ayo Ayoola, Moshood Fattah, Juliana Fattah, Ralph Okoro, Josephine Ewuru and Iyke Okechukwu.
