Official Formula 1 Champagne G.H. MUMM hosts the Annual Lagos Yacht Club Regatta




G.H. MUMM, the official Formula 1 champagne, played host to sailors at the Lagos Yacht Club at their 82nd Annual Regatta.

Sailors from the club competed in the race with 52 teams participating in the regatta, enjoying cool winds and clear skies; providing exciting shore side entertainment for spectators.

The winning team was presented with a ‘GH Mumm Magnum’ in honour of their victory and the cork was popped with delight.  Three other teams were also awarded.

    This is encouraging and promising to see alternative modern sport take centre stage in Lagos. And a good use of our vast water resource. Sad however, for the naysayers for whom rot, decadence, filth, sloth and other worse ills are the news they enjoy reading about this thriving city.
