Gabrielle Union shares How Dwyane’s Proposal On a Bad Manicure Day Made her A SensatioNail Ambassador

Gabrielle Union is rolling in some big beauty bucks!

The “Being Mary Jane” star has been announced as the new ambassador for at-home gel manicure system – SensatioNail.

The story behind the deal is quite unique – Gabrielle revealed to WWD that she decided to partner with the brand when her now-husband Dwyane Wade popped the question on a day she didn’t have her nails done. When she shared her wedding bling on Instagram, sure enough her followers had a few things to say about her absence of a good manicure.

Gabrielle said “[My husband] proposed in between manicures and my manicurist called and said, ‘I cannot believe on your biggest moment your nails looked crazy,’“, “After that she sent me the [SensatioNail] starter kit and the card said, ‘No excuses, you’re not going to make me look terrible even if you’re on your own.’“

The new ambassador will star in a national TV campaign titled “Confessions of a Gel Fanatic” which will launch this year in December.

She also shared some of her key tips with StyleWatch saying – “The key is taking your time. Do your nails while you’re catching up on your shows“. “My go-to color Midnight Rendezvous. It’s a shiny black that makes you feel a bit like a rock star.”
