Joke Silva speaks on “Social Media” Lifestyle of Nollywood Actors

In the latest issue of Genevieve Magazine, veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva discusses a number of issues surrounding the industry ranging from casting to the industry’s development and most interesting the glamour and reality of actors in the industry.

On separating the social media life of glamour of social media, the actress took to Instagram to share an excerpt of her interview where she revealed that the industry cannot support the glamorous lifestyle displayed by some Nollywood stars.

Don’t be deceived by what goes on on social media. Obviously there is something else such actors are doing, perhaps other businesses to shore up their income. The reality is that on the earning capacity of an actor in Nigeria, you cannot have that sort of lifestyle in this economy.
