Here are the Highlights from Garmspot x Boxfair Lifestyle Event

Garmspot recently hosted its 2nd annual streetwear and lifestyle event on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018, which was an intimate experience of all things art, fashion and creativity at 2 Alexander, Ikoyi, Lagos. At last year’s event, Garmspot went beyond the usual opportunity to shop and involved visual installations and retail displays from Severe Nature, Garmspot, Kiwi&Yam, Wafflesncream, David Blackmoore, Mr Color, Saints, IN Official, Nu York Works and Vintage Smith. In addition to this, brands displayed exclusive items, brand collaborations and souvenirs – all for free.

The event stayed true to theme with a minimalistic approach to design, letting the art exhibitions and brands take centre stage. Artist Tebi created a jaw-dropping exhibition for Boxfair, which was proudly displayed on a wall and up for sale, while Mr Color’s Niyi Okeowo held a widely lauded art exhibition. In addition to this, Garmspot’s partnership with Sound pool played an integral role in putting together local music and live bands to accompany the music performances by Tomi Thomas, MAK and DJ Bristar.
