‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this is the time to spread Christmas cheer to people around you. We, at BellaNaija, decided to put together a list of charity initiatives you can support this holiday.

Please feel free to conduct your own independent research and ask the organizers any questions you have about the events.

There are opportunities to volunteer, donate and even if it’s just by spreading the word, we believe this will go a long way in helping people.

Come 21st of December, FreeHands Initiative will be visiting a community to make Christmas a little brighter for some families and your donations are required.  it doesn’t have to be cash, you can support this event by donating funds, giving new or gently used clothes, shoes, and other items or becoming a volunteer. You can donate here or through the Stanbis IBTC Bank.

Yes We Can?????? #LetsDoMore Repost from @otto_orondaam In less than 21 Days our team transformed 3 dilapidated empty classrooms from Picture 2 to what we have in this video and today 165 lovely children now have a comfortable classroom to learn with lovely teachers and of course new school supplies ????? _ _ _ We plan to add 15 Additional Remodelled Learning Centres and Early Childhood Development Classrooms in the next 3 months for kids in underserved communities and we want you all to join us on this journey. _ _ _ While many of us work in very comfortable offices from Mondays to Fridays, Over 95% of our children in public schools and low income private schools across Nigeria are learning in abysmal states. _ _ Our children are seating on the floor and learning in flooded classrooms with leaking roofs across our country and it’s heartbreaking. Together with our Government we can change this and build our collective future. _ _ Thanks to our incredible volunteers @slum2school for going extra miles to support, raise funds and mentor our kids and our friends at Dominos, PinkBerry & Coldstone who supported the remodelling of one of these 3 Early Childhood Development Centres. They are presently raising funds for 1000 of our kids across Nigeria and we can’t thank them enough. ???❤ _ _ Together Lets Do More to build #TheNigeriaWeWant #OttoOrondaam #Slum2School #EarlyChildhoodEducation #EatNGo #LetsDoMore

With your donations, you can save Aba libraries and when you save the library, you save the child from illiteracy.

Zamfara Charity is calling on everyone to save children from cold by donating your old or unused cardigans, head warmers, socks and many more for the ‘Save A Child From Cold’ project. No matter how small you think it is, just give!
