On Saturday 16th June 2012, Empire Mates Entertainment artistes Banky W, Wizkid, Skales, Shaydee & Niyola held a party for their latest all star collaboration album tagged Empire Mates State of Mind at Deuces Bar & Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.
To celebrate with the EME Crew for their stellar collaboration, were some of Nigeria’s top music acts and socialites including Tiwa Savage, 2Face, Sasha, Lynxxx, Praise Adejo (Praiz), eLDee Da Don, Yvonne Vixen Ekwere, Iceberg Slim, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Dr SID, Ms. Jaie, Don Jazzy and a host of others. BN was on the scene at the party and we have all the exclusive photos.

The way we Nigerians are embracing western/American culture is absurd. The dresses get shorter, the skin is super bleached the fake hair, nails are longer,etc we are copying it all. Where is the African in us bck home because those of us living in the Western countries are not nearly as Western as those back home, “why” you ask. It is because we are desparately trying to preserve the little that is left of our beautiful culture. I am not saying do not live a comfy life but please not at the expense of the parts of who we are that is beautiful, wonderful and precious.
