WWA Nigeria 2015- BellaNaija - April 2015001

Women represent approximately 65-70% of a good majority of Nigerians all over the country that attend church. They play a major role in the churches and the nation as a whole – especially through their work as volunteers and leaders of church projects and NGOs. Therefore the pivotal role they play in society cannot be overemphasized.

It’s with these facts in mind that we are hosting the third Wise Women Awards in Nigeria. The Wise Women Awards 2015 will provide christian women from across the denominational spectrum and across Nigeria with an opportunity to be recognized and nominated for their contributions in the world of work, church and ministry and win an award.

Date: Sunday June 28th, 2015

Venue: Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos

Pastor Faith Oyedepo a woman whose faith in God has encouraged others , unlimited support to her husband’s ministry and has held unto God’s word even in infirmity. God gave her victory over death, her life is a proof that the God she serves truly answers prayers!

Sinach for award in Music…her consistency and deep connection to God via music is inspirational and a blessing to all.

All selfless women that own orphanage homes, NGOs founders, workers in the homes and supporters of different causes should be acknowledged and appreciated.

All women who have been silently exceptional, multitasking, spirited and great in their various endeavors need to be acknowledged. We may not all be honored or given awards but acknowledgement of these women will be a worthy act.
