which one is africa magic igbo again? so there will be an africa magic channel for each african tribe. Anyway i don’t even watch all that nonsense. Nigerians( especially igbos) always wanting to dominate everything. the network should be changed to Nigeriamagic.

      April 30, 2015 at 10:54 pm

This fear of Igbo domination though? Obu gini kwanu? Owunu du ka nde Igbo me na eme ka ahu na ta unu okwu? I support Africa Magic Bini/Afemai. Pacified sister

The fear is real…lol. I thought it was a joke at first but they are actually scared which is quite amusing

    • Facethetruth

      May 2, 2015 at 5:33 pm

There’s no fear of Igbo domination, it’s more of fear of lousiness, negative things. You just know Igbos will bring more trouble than anything else. Bring wahala into your peaceful life. every tribe has pride in who they are but leave it for the Igbos to be lousy with it yet most of then can’t even speak or write in Igbo. Don’t even claim their papaland to changing their names to sound less Igbo . Igbos have been part of Nigeria from the beginning, they haven’t dominated, tried with the Biafra but failed miserably. And they are not dominating anywhere maybe their little villages. Dominate includes a group flourishing than other people and even helping others out. They are in power, controlling everything. That’s not the case here. If anything, the West is even helping them by accommodating where they are able to grow their businesses, buy lands, build houses they can’t freely build in igbo land, Etc bcos Igbos can kill each other over land and money.

    • Ifemelu

      April 30, 2015 at 10:54 pm

Sit down and shut up! It is not our responsibility to uplift other tribes. Do not come on here and demand that Igbos do not uplift theirs. Our ethnic pride is not ethnic hate. Know the damn difference. Such an imperialistic thinking to try to impose on others how and how not to keep making their culture and language live. If Bini want to do it, go ahead. You guys have a rich culture and it is up to the people to do that. Don’t be intimidated by Igbos simply because we know and love our culture. Yorubas have had their NTA channel for years and NOBODY said anything bad about it even while growing up in Lagos. I would watch it when a good Yoruba show was on. If i didn’t like it, guess what? I switched it! As a matter of fact, the two biggest blogs in Nigeria are run by two IGBO women. Bellanaija and Lindaikeji. If you like stay there and be preaching hate, we keep bloody excelling. Don’t come for us unless we send for you. Now, shut it!

      Chai….this reply agbaala m ara!!!
On that note how ignorant does that line about”Ibos wanting dominate everything” sound?. This is the same mentality South Africans have towards the foreigners, AND WE WONDER WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD TODAY. smh

Before there was Africa magic Igbo, there was Africa magic for Yoruba and hausa. Please, kindly find another basis for your Igbo domination argument.

    • DU

      May 1, 2015 at 12:51 am

You obviously don’t watch Africa Magic cos if you did by now you’d know there’s already Africa Magic Yoruba and Hausa. Stop tribalism; We all lose until we all unite, heal and thrive.

    • Damilola

      May 1, 2015 at 9:01 pm

You must not be aware that Yoruba and Hausa have theirs. I’m even surprised it took this long to launch an Igbo one. I enjoy Igbo music, hopefully I can improve on my Igbo learning. Pete edochie is one of my favorite actors. He plays an evil man so well, that I think he might be mean in real life. That’s how much I think he’s an excellent actor. Rita, that’s my girl stays looking fabulous. Genny, looks pretty as usual. I’m secretly nosy about her boo? I wonder who she’s dating. The man better treat her well.

But core Nigerian movies are already igbo oriented and do not need another channel solidifying their presence on TV unlike the yorubas or hausas. Sorry, I won’t be watching…

    • Professor X

@Lola Carey, where did BN go wrong? I’ve known them to feature stories from the entertainment industry irrespective of tribe. I’m not Ibo but the way people go about condemning them for being who they are, I mean for just BEING, is scary. Please stop the hate. We are all God’s children! Shalom!
