Kaela Kay Spring Summer 2015 Collection - BellaNaija - September 2015009Over the years we’ve seen Ghanaian fashion brand, Kaela Kay, dish out collection after collection of amazing pieces all made from African fabrics. And their offering for Spring/Summer 2015 is no different.

With bold statement pieces on elegant and feminine silhouettes, there is nothing we don’t love about this collection. They’re offering ankara and striped fabrics on peplum skirts, pleated dresses, skirts with tulle detailing, lace and a lot more. Kaela Kay makes mixing and matching prints looks so good!

We’re going to let the pieces speak for themselves, but be sure to tell us what you think.

Now, this is what I’m talking about being creative. Doing something that has a little (if not all) idea of your own; not copy and paste! I’m so shopping like now.

I love it that the different prints don’t clash, it just merges beautifully. Love it!

IF Stella jean who is not even African, can sell her African skirts for $500 I encourage my African designers to do same, unless your target market is just Africans.

Invest into your branding, marketing, and set stage in west and target there and increase to par or 20% less to Stella Jean prices and take her customerst. The westt i’s where the money is. Let’s be realistic

This is nice but they are pieces any tailor can make with the right fabrics. i don’t see the creativity here. They are just regular clothes made and styled properly, and modeled by beautiful women. The applause should go to the stylist. Kudos to the designer all the same.
