“Sony Music offered me a better deal than Universal” – Davido

Davido had a chat with NotJuskOK TV to talk about his upcoming EP, his 2016 which he described as a “rest year”, the rise of Nigerian artistes and more.

He also talks about the fact that nobody has had a successful album this year but there have been successful singles. He addresses the fact that both him and Wizkid are signed on to Sony Music Entertainment Africa and the fact that there is no competition there.

Talking about his deal with Sony, he says that he chose to go with them instead of Universal because Sony cared more about his music and aspirations.
