When Technology Becomes Amazingly Beautiful! Toke Makinwa, Noble Igwe, Lynxxx, Mai Atafo,Toju Foyeh & More at the Launch of the New HP Spectre

It was fashion inspired by technology at the launch of the new HP Spectre, one of the world’s slimmest laptop. Just like the laptop, the event, which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, was premium in every way. Ranging from the beautifully dressed guests to the amazing collections from Mai Atafo and Toju Foyeh; celebrities such as Toolz, Toke Makinwa, Noble Igwe, Lynxxx brought their fashion A-game.

First of its kind in Nigeria, the launch was done at an exclusive and exquisite fashion show. Nigeria’s finest designers, Mai Atafo and Toju Foyeh showcased, on the runway, their latest collections, which were inspired by the features of the new HP Spectre, a premium PC that has redefined aesthetics in technology.

At the launch, HP’s Regional Marketing Manager, Tolulope Lawani, said the new HP Spectre has redefined laptops as it brings a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality.

Lawani said “Every feature on this piece is well thought-out. At the point of conceptualising the design of the new HP Spectre, care was taken to couple the best user experience with maximum performance in the masterpiece. I dare say ‘power’ has never been this slim. This is a premium notebook PC, which does not force users to compromise on style, function or performance, like other super thin PCs in the market do.”  Speaking further he noted that the new HP Spectre offers an amazing superb entertainment experience in picture and sound with the full HD 13.3(33.8cm) diagonal edge-to-edge display and Bang & Olufsen sound. What is more inspiring about the new HP Spectre is its sleekness. It is just 10.4mm thick and 2.45 pounds heavy; slimmer and lighter than some smart phones.

With this device, HP has raised the bar in tech innovation and reaffirmed its leadership position in the industry.

Fashion Inspired by the New Sceptre

Mai Atafo described the New Spectre as “super sleek and chic.”

He said, “The first time I saw the new HP Spectre, I was indeed in awe. My mind began to play around the features from the new HP Spectre that I could incorporate into my design.”

Toju Foyeh said “When I saw the new HP Spectre my first thought was this could pass for a fashion accessory, a lady’s clutch bag, and having used it, my take is that the new HP Spectre offers the best of both worlds – beauty and superior performance.”

The event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
