      March 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm

Loooool! I was thinking the same o! Apart from the celebrants it seems like if your parents are not popular or socialites you dont get a mention! Thats so elitist… Nigeria.. So if a private person books the service ofnthis company theybdont get a mention? Urgh.. Pitiful.. And just a few of these decorations are nice..70% are quite razz

I’m not a massive fan of all the name dropping but I understand that thats the name of the game when you do business in Lagos.

    Keep up the amazing work!

  10. newmommye

    March 21, 2012 at 11:33 am

truly breathtaking! but the question remains, how much?

    • Amebo Hater

      March 21, 2012 at 3:32 pm

This babe… God will give you wisdom.

as in, do you expect them to start naming exactly how much they’ve charged individual clients?? bearing in mind the fact that negotiation inevitably takes place as well as so many varying factors which will affect the price – location, venue, amount of tables etc to be decorated, different types of flowers, the seasonality of the flowers etc.

If you want to make a genuine enquiry with regards to price, all the relevent contact details are there.

Interesting how people are questioning affordability, don’t know much about the company but it they want they can make less flamboyant cheaper packages as a branch out of their company therefore bringing in more revenue for them.Great work though,I thought I was in heaven for a moment,I believe they will go to greater lengths in the future.
P.S. name dropping is unnecessary to me,but in naija those things matter to some so continue with your business

    March 21, 2012 at 10:53 pm

can you guys for goodness sake stop being shallow?! from what I can see here this company has class and style..if you canNOT afford them simply get the services of those you can afford. nobody is forcing anybody. abi dont u think the materials used cost money? abi dont u think the truck used to carry the materials cost money? or dont u think shipping the materials from where they get them cost money?! even the regular training(s) they receive home and abroad cost money(Ticket etc) you guys shd kindly carry your negativity somewere else. and leave the woman to maximize her potential in Peace.

Well done rostal flowers….splendid decor. Lets also not get carried away with al diz grandeur esp in wedding events. afta spendin so much on decor i wonder how many couples spend time to actually make the marriage work. A beautiful wedding ceremony doesn’t guarantee a wonderful marriage. People should learn to pursue relevant tins….jus saying 🙂

@Deedee, you have written well! all some Nigerians know how to do is talk about people living on less than a dollar a day. does that mean those that worked hard for their money can’t enjoy it?what ever made you think they’re not helping the less privileged?I’m done with haters, they make me sick! Good job Rostal, i’d like to discuss with you for my wedding in abuja soon 🙂

    • Marchesa

      March 25, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Ermmm… truth teller, I guess the key words in your comment are “worked hard for their money”. If you’ve worked hard then by all means …have a ball (all done up by Rostal Flowers and accessories).
However, if you did’nt work hard for the money……coughs…..*walks away*

Maybe it seems like she’s name dropping cos yoruba parents pay for their childrens weddings esp d bride’s parents. So she may not know the names of the couple, instead she knows the names of the parents who foot the bill.
Lovely work tho, keep it up

Breathtaking pictures Rostal. They really speak for your works and it’s about time you start flaunting it. I hope people can get pass the ideology of attaching huge costs to flamboyance. They are not necessarily synonymous and we should not be intimated by such. I know this lady works with her clients’ budget and will NOT compromise standards. If you are one with high values, please make time out to contact her, she will customize your needs to your budget and you will definitely be happy you took the plunge. Welldone Mrs Oduwole!!

Exceptiionally impressive – yet as usual like most african businesses – NO WEBSITE AND EVEN IF THERE IS I GUARANTEE YOU THE WEBSITE IS EITHER SUSPENDED OR VERY CRAP.

I dont know whats with african businesses not understandig the importance of investing in a great website. They spend their money elsewhere.

A few of my foreign friends i have introduce to with African Fashion (at least 7 of them) and they always complain to me – whats up with your people? I have been trying to order a dress from such and such designer and i can not do so on thier website and when i email them they never respond.

I know for sure – this is the area i will win in competitive edge when i go back home. I will invest thousands of dollars in the best website ever to make it very enticing for the international market

Africa get out of your lil box and invest in website accessible globally.

So in conclusion, the decor is gorgeous but the fact that she doesnt have a website to go with it, I so dont care.

She is talented , i cant lie but its really not easy to tell that she is affordable with all the so called ECHELON OF NIGERIAN SOCIAL CIRCLE listed up there, and just in case we were wondering and loosing sleep over who they were, we have their names as well.
anyway echelon or no echelon ,i will call her no harm in trying

  48. Aisha Raji

    March 23, 2012 at 7:36 pm

yaaay 4 rostal! I think your work is just amazing! I dont understand why people are hating tho. Like if she had clients that nobody knew, will you be so keen to work with her?(i think not). Clearly she put the names up there not to show off but to put her business in a better light and wheel in more customers. I see nothing wrong with that.
Anyways, i’ve put her down as the decorator for my wedding!!!!
Lets appreciate talent people!!! stop the hating.
    much love. xxxx

From the different decors one can see that they provide customised services. I have seen big (international) companies, in trying to boost public confidence in their services and in trying to show what kind of track record they have, list some of their clients that have utilised their services. I don’t think this kind of ‘name-dropping’ is exclusive to Nigeria alone and I think valid marketing strategy. Good work guys!

The consistency in standard is commendable, looking at the different pictures. There also seems to be a theme designed for almost every event and that i find appealing. These are lovely pictures. Good job. I’m not sure all the clients from Rostal paid same amount, i bet the outfit can work with almost everybody’s budget.

    March 26, 2012 at 10:56 pm

ok maybe am just different but i don’t get all the negative comments coz all i could think of was “wow this is so beautiful” while scrolling i didn’t even notice the name dropping oh i just thought it was simple courtesy since they were using pics from people’s events. Really loving their floral arrangements!
