First Photos: Waje, Omawumi, Somkele Idhalama, Toke Makinwa, Osas Ajibade spotted at #SheIsTheMovie Premiere

The premiere for Waje and Omawumi‘s highly anticipated co-produced movie “She Is” is tonight.

The premiere for the movie is being held at the Filmhouse Cinema in Lekki, Lagos, with several celebrities already spotted at the event.

With a Fairytale dress code, we’ve loved spotted some of our fave stars on the red carpet so far.

Toke Makinwa, Shaffy Bello, Idia Aisien, Somkele Idhalama, Mocheddah, Chinonso Arubayi, Ade Laoye, Layole Oyatogun, Mary Edoro, Adebayo Oke-Lawal, Osas Ajibade, Adunni Ade and many more have been spotted so far.

‘She Is’ is the maiden project from recently founded Hermanes Media, and tackles a number of personal and societal issues women have to deal with in today’s world.

In the movie, we’re thrown right into the life of Frances Anyaoku, our hero, a woman in her thirties who has an almost perfect life – according to the standards set by society. However, she feels incomplete because she is yet to have a child, and is devastated when she is informed she has fibroids and will be unable to conceive and carry to full term normally. Together, we follow Frances through the emotions and resulting decisions – some funny and others devastating – as she takes destiny into her own hands.

Osas looks stress free, relaxed and beautiful. Her marriage must have been draining the hell out of her. Her ring is absent. Gbenro made it easier to move on, just like Tiwa’s husband.I’m guessing, their marriage is officially over. Its better to be separate than force yourself and be miserable. Its truly sad to see the high divorce rate though among Nigerians. No need to publicize your weddings then. Marry quietly, divorce quietly.
People stop rushing into marriage to be trendy, feel complete and pressure. It serves no one good. Those people you are competing with , want to please could care less about your troubles and challenges.
And if you think it will make you feel better, you are only deceiving yourself.

Umm…would have been nice to have your comments on their looks alone. Not speculative conversation on their marriages or what wasn’t listed in the above article.

Everyone looks really lovely. The lady with the butterflies in her hair, Toke Makinwa, Osas Ighodaro, breathtaking! They really stand out.
