I just watched 4 thinking 1-2-3 were better. Don’t know if I said this before (after the first bunch of episodes) the camera work is sometimes amazing. the extreme close-ups, not sure why those tripped me so much. i just started watching 5, and had to stop to say that. those extreme close-ups (of instruments in the opening credits) are fire!
now the acting, it’s uneven. i find the lead male interesting – he dominates, as his character ought to do. the dropped mic/volume in the middle of episode 4 – disappointing. now let me go on to watch 5. i don’t know why i watch this, or if i’ll keep watching it for long, but i like the easy peasy entertainment anyhow. cheers. oh, and i love Muna. the casting couch girls are funny. hi Wana. and why not do some wide shots sometimes, like landscapes or Lagos aerial sweeps or something…to contrast the little dramatic spaces…

you know what i want back? An African City.

right on cue – the “English cottage” then the “African Garden” in ep 5. Love it. Gotta get the sound better though, louder, more even, clearer, …
