The teen who was suffering from a rare stage 4 cancer, passed away on Saturday E! Online confirms. Ebony dreams came true after her classmates joined forces and spread #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE on social media in hopes that Beyoncé sees it and grants their friend her last wish.

A vigil was held on Sunday, March 26, and the students who attended celebrated Ebony‘s life with Beyoncé’s “Halo” playing in the background. Earlier this month, Ebony’s closest family and friends held an early graduation ceremony in her honor.
