Vic O & Samklef join list of Entertainers vying to be Governor - BellaNaijaFollowing the recent trend of celebrities announcing they intend to run for Governor, two more – producer Samklef and rapper Vic O – have stated their intentions to run in their respective states.

Self-styled “King of Rap” Vic O has decided to take his talents to another field – politics.

He declared on Instagram his intention to run for Governor in Cross River State.

The rapper has said he will be forfeiting his salary as he intends to rule for free.

Samklef also shared a photo of his poster on Instagram, announcing his intention to run for Governor in Imo State.

Samklef’s poster says Imo 2017, although there is no Governorship election in the state in 2017 fueling insinuation that it may just be for publicity.

    Vic-O wants to be the governor of Cross River state yet his postal has the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge of Lagos State. All of them career no gree blow,dem come out for campaignweda we go remember them and dia muzik. We don see una. Can the real politricians come out now?

    Erm… how come people are getting their panties all up in a bunch about this. It’s obvious that this is a promotion for something (whatever that is), they don’t actually intend to run for any post.
