“At the end of the day, we need to find that perfect balance” – Falz speaks on Nigerian Hip Hop Culture | WATCH
Over the past couple of months, since the infamous “Loose Talk Podcast” with M.I, there have been a lot of talks in the media among hip hop acts, fans and critics alike on why rappers veer from the hardcore rap and do commercial music.
Speaking to Pulse Nigeria, Falz explained that it is important to find a balance and an artist should not be restricted to one genre. He reiterated that the hip hop culture did not originate from Africa and it is just right that Africans add their own style to it.
