Bluepearl Services International, organizers of African Fashion and Design Week Nigeria, New York and Los Angeles is pleased to announce that African Fashion and Design Week (AFDW) will take place in Lagos, Nigeria from October 12th and 13th, 2018 at the Oriental Hotel. After 6 years of success, the 7th edition promises to be even more awesome.

African Fashion and Design Week’s primary focus is to provide more retail access for designers to consumers globally, provide platforms for networking and celebrating each other in the African fashion industry. Each year, African Fashion and Design Week draws countless visitors, fashion entrepreneurs, buyers, industry professionals, and local & international media to preview the looks that will define the continent’s fashion trends.

Date: Friday, October 12th and Saturday, October 13th, 2018.
Venue: Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

AFDW 2018 under the theme “Magnificent Africa”, will feature

• Fashion runway with collections from leading established and emerging designers across Africa
• The annual African Icon of Hope Awards which will acknowledge contributions of individuals and organizations to the developments of fashion in Africa.
• The Business of Fashion Seminar which provides a platform to enhance core skills and highlight evolving trends within the fashion business value chain.
• A trade exhibition which presents invaluable networking opportunities to buyers and consumers.
