“I am not male or female” – Watch Sam Smith discuss what it means to be Non-Binary

A lot has been in Sam Smith‘s head these past few years, or so Sam says in this interview with Jameela Jamil in her new interview series “I Weigh.”
The singer sat down with the funny actress and discussed how they’ve always been free when it comes to thinking about sexuality, but not quite when it comes to gender.
We’ve always known the singer to be deeply affecting, thanks to their music, and they were characteristically so in this interview.
About being non-binary, Sam says:
You do not identify in a gender. You are just you…you are your own special creation. That is how I take it. I am not male or female. I think I float somewhere in between — somewhat on the spectrum.
I’ve always had a bit of a war in my body and my mind…I do think like a woman in my head at times.
