Coming Soon on Ndani Movies – Kunle Afolayan’s “The Figurine (Araromire)” Starring Ramsey Nouah & Omoni Oboli

Ndani TV – An online television platform celebrating and showcasing the best of African, art, fashion, film, business and sports – will premiere Kunle Afolayan‘s movie “The Figurine (Araromire)” also starring Ramsey Nouah, Funlola Awofiyebi-Raimi and Omoni Oboli, on its Ndani Movies website very soon.

The multi-award winning flick which would be shown on the site for a limited period only, tells the story of two friends who while serving at a National Youth Service Corps camp, find a mystical sculpture in an abandoned shrine in the forest, and one of them decides to take the artwork home. Unknown to them, the sculpture is from the Yoruba goddess Araromire which bestows seven years of good luck on anyone who encounters it and after the expiration of the 7 years, they will encounter 7 years of bad luck. The lives of the two friends begin to change for good,  as they become successful businessmen. However, after 7 years things start to change for bad.
